Our most recent recovery project involved the start-up of field operations for the Housing Recovery element of New York’s NY Rising program, managing the homeowner application process and the distribution of CDBG-DR funds.

Vuelta Management managed community outreach activity and the day-to-day tasks required to open, staff, and operate eight applicant intake centers across Long Island and Upstate New York, delivering over 35,000 applicant contact points, average case manager performance rating of 4.95 on a 5.0 scale as scored by program applicants, and distributing over $300 million in aid to affected homeowners.

Our staff developed initial performance tracking databases, implemented training and auditing systems for case management staff and for verification of benefits, managed all field staff performance, developed/implemented/managed applicant intake and award notification processes and implemented the distribution process to deliver funds to affected homeowners.
