A retail display manufacturer landed a large contract with a national department store to develop and produce display fixtures to fit the retailer’s major store redesign concept. The manufacturer needed a Project Manager to help them develop a plan for rapidly scaling capacity to manage the increased demand. They couldn't afford the to let the large opportunity disrupt their other loyal customers.
Vuelta Management worked with their Operations team to quantify increased labor requirements and identify resources to supply trained and qualified short-term labor. Additionally, we calculated demand and throughput requirements on critical capital equipment and developed a plan for expanding production capacity. Vuelta Management identified and qualified material sources to ensure a steady flow of components to the production process. Temporary manufacturing space was identified in order to support the short-term demand for kitting and packaging large footprint displays. Partnering with Vuelta Management, the Executive team was able keep its focus on other elements critical to the Company’s success. They relied on Vuelta Management to plan and coordinate critical elements of a major project for their key customer.
