A multi-location restaurant with a unique product, a great following, and bright prospects was struggling to stay afloat. They were experiencing problems with theft, poor inventory control, difficulty managing costs, and uncertainty on menu pricing.
Vuelta Management worked with the owners (conducting our work in Spanish as well as English) to help them implement better systems for portion control and security, ensuring that inventory costs were better managed and employee theft at the cash register was eliminated. We worked with management to develop accurate forecasting, enabling the restaurant to better understand costs, manage their cash, reduce debt, and increase profitability. Today the business is thriving with a loyal following of regulars and a high-profile location visited by hundreds of thousands of people each year, generating consistent sales and creating new customers.
